| Welcome | Thus far, the 2005-2006 season has been a gratifying one. Although I had some disappointing losses, all in all I feel I played well throughout, giving Pro Kennex the exposure it counts on me for. As the season winds down, I look forward to the off season for many reasons. Spending time with family and friends is always fun. I plan to play lots of golf with friends, and with the boys. Jason will be 4 years old this summer, and Jared will hit 2 ½. Geez, I’m getting old.
Several trips are already planned. One of the trips is to Maui, to scout out some locations to do another fantasy racquetball camp, similar to the Aruba camp. Fran Davis and I may do some island hopping to check out other destinations in Hawaii as well. The other trip may be to go visit Uncle Suds. Jason has been talking about it for a few months, and we may make it happen again. Maybe I can get Sudsy back on the court for a little sparring. If so, I will video it, and try to put it on my website. If not, I will see if Ed Arias would be able to put it on www.proracquetball.net.
I believe I should take a little time off in order to let the body heal up. So I don’t plan to play any seriously strenuous sports. I’m going to take a few spin classes per week, and maybe do some more Yoga, some mountain biking, and the normal life cycle workout each morning. Then, once July 1st comes around. I will play some squash and badminton to get into fighting shape. I will also drill several times per week to make sure I stay sharp. Come August 1st, I will get back to live racquetball play, in order to get ready for the new season.
As always, I’d like to thank my fans for your support. One of the main reasons I can continue to play at this level is because you fill me with the energy to fight on. I’m also grateful that you support my company, Pro Kennex. Without that value, which you create, I would not be able to play this sport for a living. I truly appreciate you in every way.
